Your home page

Your home page is the first page you see when you sign in. It shows your account’s own data in sections: headline numbers, charts, and tables of your assets. The page shows live data. Each time it opens, it gets the data again, so it is never out of date.

Every account starts with the same page. For the period, it shows the energy your assets used, the CO₂e they avoided, and the energy they used in the grid’s peak hours. Below that, it shows a map of your assets, how each asset scores on CarbonScore and GridScore, and the assets that need action. You can change all of it.

Each part of the page loads on its own. A number that takes longer to calculate shows a placeholder until it is ready.

If your account has no assets yet, the home page is a conversation with Aristotle about getting set up. Tell it what you want to do, or pick a suggestion: upload a meter data file, connect your utility, or set up sample assets to explore.

One period applies to the whole page, and the header shows it, for example “Last 12 months · Oct 2025 to Sep 2026”. To see a different period, select it in the Period list. Your choice stays in the address of the page, so a reload or a shared link keeps it. Some charts show a fixed range of dates of their own. These charts show their dates above the chart, and the period does not change them.

Account administrators can change the home page. To change it:

  1. Select Customize this page at the bottom right of the page.
  2. Tell Aristotle what you want, for example “Show my biggest savers” or “Change the period to this year”.
  3. Watch the page. Each new section appears while Aristotle works.

Aristotle can add, change, remove, and reorder sections, and change the period. It can also explain what a chart on the page shows.

Aristotle never changes the page that other people see. Each change goes to your draft, and only you can see the draft. While you look at your draft, a banner at the top of the page says “You’re viewing a draft”.

  • To make the draft the page for everyone in your account, select Publish.
  • To delete the draft, select Discard. The published page stays as it was.

If a colleague has a draft in progress, you see the published page and a note that names the colleague. To continue their work, select Take over. The draft then becomes yours.

The header shows who last published the page, and when. Select Version history to see each published version. To publish an older version again, select Restore. To go back to the page that every account starts with, select Reset to the default page. Restore and reset are not available while a draft exists. Publish or discard the draft first.
